We had a backyard BBQ celebration in honor of Annalee's first year. Annalee started walking on Texas Independence Day...right before she turned one! It was fun to debut her new talent at the party!
Mimi and Mittie came in town for the big day.

This year we spent Christmas at home in Austin. It was so relaxing. We got up early and read the Nativity Story and opened presents!
The weekend after Christmas the Sawyer extended family got together. Annalee and cousin Kiera played together in the bath tub/sink!

Robin is adjusting well to Austin. She loves the new house... especially the neighborhood park! Annalee loves watching her go after the ball!
Annalee is trying all sorts of new foods. She loves sweet potatoes, ham, turkey, peas and fruit.
Annalee got to hang out with Graham at Mimi's house. We were all in town for Keira's baptism. They had a ball!

In the mornings Annalee and Robin snuggle. Robin has been so sweet to her... extremely forgiving of the tail pulls and fur yanks. 
Nando came to visit over Thanksgiving weekend. He was such a big help with Annalee...and we had fun with him too!

Annalee's top two teeth are trying to cut through.... raw broccoli is one of her favorite teething toys! She is sleeping great...giggling throughout the day and cruising all over the house. Some of my biggest challenges are keeping her away from the stairs and the dog's food!
Annalee turned 7 months in October! It was a month filled with change for the whole family. We moved in to our newly renovated house in Austin, Annalee got teeth, learned to stand on her own, and is eating big girl food! 
Annalee's new favorite toy is her musical leap frog. She stands and bangs on the keys for hours. It is no longer Blake's favorite toy. 
If her driving is anything like her Mom's....we are all in for a treat!!!
I got a huge spider to hang from Annalee's balcony ... she was not scared!
Annalee and I took a trip to Houston to visit one of my best friends Lizzy. My biggest memory...the pack and play broke so Annalee and I shared a bed. A first and a last!

Blake's mom spent Halloween with us. We ate Chicken and Dumplings and greeted trick or treaters!
Annalee's favorite activity remains the park. The baby swing is just about her only authorized activity. I used to let her play in the pebbles...but found WAY to many in her diaper the next day. So...that activity is on hold for a little while.
I taught Annalee to play Peek a boo...she does not EVER get tired of the game. Anyone is welcome to take over this activity....I need a break. 
Our last big change is one of the best. Our dog Robin returned home for good. Annalee adores her...we put up an electric fence last weekend...now Robin refuses to go outside...she is so scared of the shock "correction". We love having her home. Happy FALL!!!
My mom had a chest full of dress up clothes ready for the girls. Annalee and Betsy spent most of the weekend trying on fun outfits. 
Betsy was the best little helper. She helped change Annalee's diaper and washed her hair. Annalee is really going to miss the hands on attention from her cousin!

Pop cooked pancakes for everyone on Sunday morning. Gran and Betsy sang Dancing Queen and danced as they ate.
