Home Sweet Austin

Robin is loaded up in the car and ready for the final stop: HOME.
Annalee is buckled in and happy to be getting home to her new room.
The day after we got home Annalee turned 3 months old!
Annalee's 3 month birthday happened to be the same day as Blake's birthday! Happy Birthday Blake!
Robin and Annalee have become very good friends...if only Robin could avoid the wet licks on Annalee's face.
Annalee is playing more and more in her floor gym. She started rolling around...it wears her out!
Our good friend Sarah Porter came to meet Annalee and join us for supper.
Mini push-ups....
We spent Father's Day weekend at the Hyde Park Home's Tour....it was SO HOT!

Blake and Annalee on Father's Day!
We are so happy to be home in Austin...now the fun really begins!

Tour of Texas

We arrived in College Station and left a couple of days later for Paris, Texas so Annalee could meet her Great Grandmother, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Cousin Robert with Annalee.
Napping on Grandmother Norma's bed.
After Paris, we headed to Dallas to meet up with Blake's family.
Annalee finally started liking floor time...thanks to her cousin Graham.

Grammy found a hat that fits Annalee perfectly!
Papa has the magic touch...he could always sing Annalee to sleep.
Mimi had her hands full with 4 Grandbabies!
We headed back to College Station so Annalee could meet her Aunt Terri!
Next stop....HOME IN AUSTIN!!!

Sad Goodbye to Florida

One of my best friends Tiffany came to visit during our last couple of weeks in Florida.
Happy First Mother's Day. We went to El Siboney for lunch and then fished at a friend's dock.
This is Annalee after her first round of shots. I am so thankful my friend Tiffany was with us. Her hamhocks were sooooo sore.
When the packers and movers came Annalee and I hung out by the pool almost all day. She loved basking and napping in the sun.
Our first night on the road...so far so good!
We stopped at one of our favorite places before we left the last island in the Keys....we will miss this place!
After packing, moving, cleaning and driving we headed to a resort in Miami to relax together before heading to Captiva Island for a family vacation.
Goodnight Key Lime Pie, Goodnight Parrot Heads, Goodnight Conch Shells...Goodnight Key West!

What does 2 months get you? SMILES!

Annalee started smiling A LOT this month! All my "mom" friends were right...the smiles are worth all the dirty diapers, sleepless nights and fussy days! I can't believe 2 months has come and gone. May 19th the Sawyers are packing up and moving back to Texas. Key West will always be a special place for us...and we will miss our friends and our island lifestyle dearly!

Annalee's favorite thing to do is sit in her chair in the morning sun and stare outside...this warms her up for her long morning nap.
She is SO much more alert now. Tracking sounds and faces.

On Friday's we Happy Hour at the Sunset Lounge. It won't be long before Annalee outgrows her sling!
Our sweet friends the Hendersons got Annalee onsies that have her name on them...they are her favorite casual attire.
After lunch milk belly.

Annalee spent some time saying goodbye to her good friend Beau who moved to North Carolina.
Smiles, smiles and more smiles. Blake and Jewels live for her smiles!

Meeting Uncle Clint!

Annalee! Wake up! You are meeting your Uncle Clint today!
Clint flew in on a cross country training flight and met Annalee. She loved him and he was sooo good at comforting and loving on her.
Uncle Clint knows what he is doing....he has done this before.
This has been a great weekend!!!

1 month of life behind me...

Annalee with her new rosary bracelet.
Before dinner....not in the mood for pictures!
sleepy mom and sleepy baby....
Last weekend we went to watch the Sunset at the Sunset Bar on the base.
watching the world....
Daddy is home! Thank goodness!

This is what our day looks like....all day long.
Love.
I can't believe it has been a month. It went by so fast...yet I can barely recall life before Annalee. Seems like she has been a part of us forever. Just when I think I can't love her more...the next moment comes and love grows.
